The Youth Outreach Programme at the YMCA of Greater Halifax & Dartmouth provides empowering programmes and services for young people aged 13-21, including: community leadership programmes in public speaking, conflict resolution, mentoring, and teambuilding); volunteering opportunities; school homework support; trips and social recreation activities. Through these programmes, YMCA Youth Outreach helps young people develop their leadership skills, independence and a social network essential to their settlement and sense of belonging.
