
Evangelia Tastsoglou is a Canadian partner on the GRABS project. She is Professor of Sociology and Global Development Studies, at Saint Mary’s University. She has published extensively, engaging a feminist and intersectional perspective, on International Migration, Canadian Immigration and Integration, Gender, Migration and Citizenship, Violence in Migration and Refugee Contexts. She is a former president of the Canadian Ethnic Studies Association (2018-2022); president of the RC32 on Women in Society of the International Sociological Association (2010-2014), and elected member of the ISA’s Research Council (2014-2018).
