Josephine Biglin is a partner in the UK. She is a lecturer in Social Psychology at the University of Salford and honorary research fellow at the University of Manchester. Her work explores people seeking asylums’ experiences of place, belonging, wellbeing and citizenship using creative participatory methods, framed by a feminist ethics of care. She also has an interest in anti-immigration discourses, particularly critically analysing the language used in social survey questions that aim to capture attitudes towards immigration. She has worked in a variety of field work settings including allotment projects and alongside academic research she is a volunteer within the third sector, supporting refugees and asylum seekers in the Greater Manchester area.
